About Mental Health Care Plans
A mental health treatment plan starts with an assessment of your concerns and support needs. Your GP will consider whether a plan and referral are appropriate and explain any relevant Medicare requirements.
A plan is one part of ongoing care and does not guarantee a particular provider’s availability or fees. Ask reception for a longer appointment and bring details of any current mental health care.
